Hello thar, Meinos Kaen here...! LEADING A DIFFERENT TEAM!

That's right! For the Sealed with a Kiss Jam 2025, I went Ronin. Team JPDE held the fort working on our usual games, while I sought allies among the galaxy of talented devs that populate the internet...

Sure, I ended up making a team where most of the members are people I've already worked with in the past but I tried! Anyway, the team is called Team Seelies, which is named after a type of Fae from mythology. The reason why we chose the name will be pretty evident once you start playing Hawks of Bruyland.

This game, our jam entry, contains many firsts for me. It's the first straight up fantasy world I ever craft -although I couldn't help but add in some Meinos Kaenisms ;)-, we took inspiration from European mythology and Western Animation for the vibes but at the same time, this Vertical Slice may be the most anime thing I've ever written.

All in all, I don't want to tell you too much as it's not super uber long and I'd rather you just dive in! There's going to be a couple more updates during the Jam evaluation period, to add a Music Room, Gallery, some QoL improvements and a Gameplay System which we weren't in time putting in the entry. But now that the Jam Crunch is over, we will be able to work on it leisurely...
