Hello there! Meinos Kaen here with updates, announcements and first all: some BIG thank yous!

The reception to our Demo of BABELOMANIA so far has been overwhelmingly positive. So much so that we've already decided: BABELOMANIA is going to become a full fledged game. We're aiming for a Fall 2025 release, and we're going to enter Full Production starting the beginning of next month!

On that note, 1.05 is going to be the last update of this Vertical Slice we submitted to the Spooktober VN Jam. If you haven't yet, please leave us a rating on the game's page, and in the competition!

Find below all the updates included in 1.05!

Codex Button - Previously, the Codex was opened by clicking on the Time display. We've decided to give it is own button in the Overlay!

New Tooltip Frame - We replaced the standard Ren'py Tooltip frame with a custom one! Fits better with the GUI and has increased readability.

Flashlight Icon, Draining Indicator - We've added an icon to better identify the Flashlight charge bar, and also added visual indication of when the Flashlight is actually draining and when it isn't.

New Think Screen - Sometimes during the game, you will go deep in Shigeo's thoughts to unravel some mysteries... Instead of using the standard Choice screen for Ren'py, we decided to give a custom GUI!

Gallery Added - The Gallery Screen has been added! To unlock it, you need to finish the Demo at least once.

Music Room Added - The Music Room Screen has been added! To unlock it, you need to finish the Demo at least once.

New Sound Effects - Some sound effects have been replaced.

New Visuals - Some visuals have been tweaked.

That's all for v1.05! Hope you enjoy this revamp and, from next month, we're going to start pushing out updates looking at a full release! Can't wait to drag you deeper into the horror of BABELOMANIA's world...! Ah, and a reminder that the game is fully playable in French too.
